Ethiopian Airlines currently serves Asmara 15X-weekly from Addis Ababa using a mix of Boeing 737-8, 737-800 and 787-9 equipment. The carrier says is “seeking clarification” about the ban and is “committed to resolving any issues amicably and promptly.”

Romanian carrier HiSky is expanding its network with a new route connecting Bucharest’s Henri Coandă International Airport and Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport.
