Aerostructures Middle East Services (AMES) is now supporting five airlines with its radome repair solutions, providing services at competitive rates with quick turnaround times for operators throughout the Middle East and Indian Peninsula.

Safran Nacelles has been selected by Kuwait Airways to provide unscheduled maintenance services coverage and asset management for thrust reversers on the airline’s Airbus A330 jetliner fleet powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 700 engines.

The partnership was finalised in a signing ceremony during MRO Middle East this week and will enable TS&S to become the first aerospace company in the Middle East to use Honeywell’s Maintenance and Inspection (M&I) voice system.

Rolls-Royce has won an order from Turkish Airlines for Trent XWB engines to power 25 Airbus A350-900 aircraft, all of which will be covered by its flagship TotalCare service support. The airline also has options for a further five aircraft.

Abu Dhabi-based engine maintenance provider, Turbine Services & Solutions (TS&S), signed its first maintenance agreement with lessor Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) at the Global Aerospace Summit today.
