Corax Acquires A321 For Teardown

Corax has acquired an Airbus A321-200 aircraft for teardown. It says the components will be released to stock as they are processed to expand its inventory of used serviceable material at its Copenhagen headquarters.

Proponent Named Americas Distributor For ExxonMobil Lubricants

Proponent has been named an authorized distributor of ExxonMobil aviation lubricants in the Americas. It will offer products including Mobil Jet Oil II, Hyjet IV-A, Hyjet V and Mobil-branded greases shipped from California and Florida, which it says will support easier delivery across the region with shorter lead times.

Airhub Aviation Adds Next-Gen Narrowbody Base Maintenance Capabilities

Airhub Aviation has expanded its base maintenance capabilities to include Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, as well as Airbus A320neos powered by CFM International Leap or Pratt & Whitney Geared Turbofan engines. Managing Director Oleg Novak says the company is seeing growing demand for regular 24-month checks and first 12-year checks on new-generation aircraft.

Ontic Launches New Cargo Aircraft MRO Program

Ontic has launched a new services program called CargoCare focused on MRO services for cargo operators. The first service it will offer under CargoCare is an exchange and overhaul program for Boeing 747 leading edge flap drive units. Ontic says this is the first of several planned CargoCare offerings.

Pakistan International Airlines Plans Cabin Modernization

Pakistan International Airlines signed a cabin modernization agreement with Aerotec Group covering five Boeing 777s with the option for four additional aircraft. Performed in partnership with Aerotec Group subsidiary aviationscouts, the phased program will include installation of full-flat business-class seats, economy class seating refurbishment, and new carpets, branding elements, and in-seat power supply and passenger service system equipment. The agreement also includes engineering support, certification activities, material procurement and logistics, project management and technical coordination.

Portugália Inks Embraer Pool Program Deal

Portugália Airlines signed a Component Pool Program agreement with Embraer for 12 E190s and seven E195s. The deal covers more than 300 aircraft components, as well as advanced exchange services, repair and overhaul solutions.

GA Telesis Grows Next-Gen Narrowbody USM Portfolio

GA Telesis has announced several new disassembly programs for next-generation narrowbodies. It has acquired three Airbus A320neo airframes and announced its first Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft disassembly program. GA Telesis says these initiatives will help it address used serviceable material (USM) demand for younger aircraft platforms.

LATAM Signs Embraer E195-E2 Component Pool Program Deal

LATAM has signed a Component Pool Program agreement with Embraer to support its introduction of 24 E195-32 aircraft. The deal covers more than 300 aircraft components across multiple E2 systems and includes advanced exchange services, repair and overhaul solutions, and selected component inventory at LATAM’s Brazil facilities.

Prime Air Acquires CFM56 For Disassembly

Heico subsidiary Prime Air has acquired a CFM International CFM56-5B6/P engine, which is being disassembled at Jet Engine Technicians in Miami. Prime Air says the used serviceable material will be routed to MROs to support its airline and MRO customers.

Werner Aero Acquires E190s

Werner Aero has acquired two Embraer E190 aircraft. The first was delivered to Toulouse Francazal Airport for dismantling, and the second will undergo dismantling in Greenwood, Mississippi. Both aircraft will feed Werner Aero’s inventory of spare aircraft parts.

ITP Aero Mexico Gets CFM Engine Test Approval

ITP Aero Mexico has received FAA authorization to test CFM International CFM56-5A/-7B and Leap-1A/-1B engines from its engine test bench in Queretaro, Mexico. The site also holds engine testing approvals from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency.

FL Technics Engine Services has announced a partnership with Group Engine Management (GEM), Lufthansa Group’s engine management services subsidiary, covering repair and maintenance services for CFM International CFM56 engines.

Air India Selects Swiss-AS MRO Software

Air India has chosen to expand its use of Swiss-AS’s AMOS Airline Edition software by implementing AMOSmro software and the AMOS Component Repair, Overhaul and Manufacture module. S.K. Dash, Air India’s chief strategy officer for engineering, says the software will help the airline “build a scalable, data-driven MRO operation.”

FTAI, United Expand Engine Exchange Deal To CFM56-7Bs

FTAI Aviation has announced an agreement with United Airlines that extends its maintenance, repair and exchange program for the airline’s IAE V2500 engines to also include its CFM International CFM56-7B engines. FTAI will deliver a serviceable engine ahead of United’s scheduled removals and purchase the unserviceable engine in exchange to build feedstock for its MRO network.

Air Dolomiti Adds In-House Battery Capability

Air Dolomiti reports that it has brought back in-house capability to overhaul main batteries installed on its Embraer E195 fleet. The airline’s maintenance team has been certified for the capability since Oct. 1.

Shannon, Ireland-based Atlantic Aviation Group has signed a new long-term agreement with easyJet to perform Airbus A320 family base maintenance, extending its existing relationship with the low-cost carrier.

Recent Engine Acquisitions

Executive Jet Support has acquired two serviceable GE CF34-10 engines that will undergo disassembly at its facility in Bydgoszcz, Poland. Setna iO has acquired a GE CF6-80E1A4B engine that it will dismantle for used serviceable material, as well as a CFM International CFM56-5B4/3 Tech Insertion engine with what it says is significant remaining life.

AirStart Becomes Sentry Aerospares

Rotables specialist AirStart has been officially renamed Sentry Aerospares following its acquisition by the company in July. As part of its integration into Sentry Aerospares, both businesses are now operating under the Quantum enterprise resource planning platform, which they say gives customers a single point of access to their combined inventory of commercial aircraft material.

StandardAero Wins Air Force Predictive Maintenance Contract

The U.S. Air Force has awarded StandardAero a contract to apply its Maintenance Insight suite of predictive maintenance, readiness and reliability diagnostic tools to the Pratt & Whitney F100-220 engine program, which powers its McDonnell Douglas F-15 aircraft. Maintenance Insight uses artificial intelligence, machine learning and digital twin technologies to analyze engine failure modes and provide predictive insights.

First Class Air Acquires Vertical Aerospace

First Class Air, a U.S. aftermarket company specializing in MRO, teardowns, and component distribution, manufacturing and exchange, has acquired Vertical Aerospace, an MRO provider based in Bristow, Oklahoma, which specializes in complex aircraft structural repair, engineering and fabricated part manufacturing. First Class Air says Vertical Aerospace will continue operating from its Bristow facility under existing leadership.

SriLankan Engineering has signed a long-term line maintenance agreement with Jetstar. Under the deal, it will provide line maintenance services for all Jetstar Boeing 787 flights operating to Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Setna iO has acquired a Boeing 757-300 airframe for teardown—its fourth 757 teardown this year. The airframe will be disassembled at ecube and the recovered components will move through Setna iO’s network as used serviceable material.

Ontic Acquires Aero-Mach Companies

Ontic has acquired Wichita-based Aero-Mach Companies, an aerospace business that owns the following specialist brands: Aero-Mach Labs, which provides aerospace manufacturing, technical services, and repair and overhaul; Aero-Mach Wilco, which distributes aviation parts and products; and Aero-Mach TCO, which designs and manufactures aircraft static dischargers for piston and turbine aircraft.

FL Technics Indonesia Lands GE Avionics Deal

FL Technics Indonesia announced that it has been appointed GE Aerospace’s first MRO partner in Indonesia and it has signed a service support agreement with the OEM for avionics systems. The deal covers services for avionics systems in Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 aircraft at its Jakarta and Bali, Indonesia facilities.

Barnes Aerospace Acquires ATL Turbine Services

Barnes Aerospace has acquired ATL Turbine Services, a specialist in refurbishment and repair of hot-section gas turbine components based in Dundee, Scotland. Barnes says the acquisition establishes its initial component repair and overhaul footprint in Europe and adds capabilities to its regional portfolio for repair, assessment, coating and engineering.

China Airlines Selects Liebherr For A350 Landing Gear Support

Taiwan-based China Airlines has selected Liebherr-Aerospace to provide exchange and overhaul services for the landing gear on its fleet of 18 Airbus A350 aircraft. Under the terms of the agreement, Liebherr-Aerospace will provide asset exchange services to support the airline’s maintenance planning and fleet availability.

ST Engineering Appoints New MRO Services Head

ST Engineering has appointed Eng Guan Tay as executive vice president and head of MRO Services, effective Oct. 1, 2026. Tay will oversee the company’s airframe, engine, component and nacelle services businesses, bringing its main commercial aviation MRO capabilities under a single leadership structure. ST Engineering said the appointment forms part of efforts to strengthen MRO within its broader Aviation Lifecycle Solution offering and improve coordination across its aftermarket businesses. Tay moves into the role after previously holding senior positions within ST Engineering’s commercial aerospace operations.
