Lufthansa Technik Milan Tests Donecle Drones

Lufthansa Technik Milan reported on LinkedIn that it recently performed automated drone testing in partnership with Donecle at its hangar. The company says it aims to “drastically streamline inspection times, enhance safety and maintain the highest precision standards for our operations.”

American Airlines Launches New MRO Workforce Partnership

American Airlines has announced a new partnership with Fort Worth, Texas-based Tarrant County College, through which top candidates from the school’s Aviation Maintenance Technology program will have priority access to interviews, mentorship and engagement opportunities with the airline’s maintenance professionals, as well as in-person exposure to its maintenance facilities. American says the partnership formalizes its existing relationship with the school, which has previously included providing career guidance and mentoring its student team in the Aerospace Maintenance Council Competition.
