New Customers Join Embraer Pool Program
Mongolian airline Hunnu Air has signed multi-year pool program agreement with Embraer covering a range of repairable components for the two E195-E2s joining the airline’s fleet. French carrier Amelia also signed an extensive services agreement with Embraer, including joining the pool program for the E-Jets family.
Vietjet Air Picks Honeywell For APU Maintenance
Vietjet Air has signed an exclusive five-year agreement with Honeywell for maintenance of the 331-350 auxiliary power units on its fleet of Airbus A330s. The agreement covers 30 aircraft.

Epcor Renews Kuwait Airways APU Deal
AFI KLM E&M subsidiary Epcor has renewed its maintenance agreement with Kuwait Airways covering Honeywell GTCP331-500 auxiliary power units (APU) on the airline’s Boeing 777 fleet for another three years. Five APUs are already undergoing maintenance at Epcor’s facility in Schiphol-Rijk, the Netherlands.
ANA Renews Moog 787 Support Deal
All Nippon Airways (ANA) has renewed its Boeing 787 support contract with Moog for another 10 years. Moog will provide pooling support and maintenance services to ANA through its Moog Total Support program.

AFI KLM E&M To Support Saudia GE90 Engines
Saudia Group signed a 13-year agreement with Air France-KLM Group covering MRO services for the 86 GE90 engines powering Saudia’s Boeing 777 fleet. AFI KLM E&M will provide support from its facilities at Paris Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports, including predictive maintenance solutions and performance analytics through its Prognos platform.
Sabena Technics To Provide A330 Services For Aer Lingus
Sabena Technics has signed an agreement to provide base maintenance and Airbus A330 enhancements to Aer Lingus from its Bordeaux, France, facility between 2026-29. The services will take place during the winter maintenance seasons.

Airhub Aviation Signs Airbus Services Deal
Airhub Aviation has signed a multi-year commercial agreement with Airbus for various engineering and upgrade services to support its investment strategy in midlife and end-of-life aircraft. Airhub Aviation says the deal will enable streamlined procurement of OEM-certified modifications and performance upgrades supporting cargo configurations.
Ex MTU Maintenance MD Joins N3
Germany-based Rolls-Royce and Lufthansa Technik joint venture N3 Engine Overhaul Services has appointed Holger Sindemann as director and general manager. Sindemann will be responsible for the company’s operational areas and be the maint point of contact for the German Federal Aviation Authority. Sindemann has nearly 20 years of aerospace industry executive management experience, including 16 years at MTU Maintenance, where he was managing director until 2022. He succeeds Carsten Behrens, who has left the company as planned after three years.

Nok Air Renews StandardAero CFM56 Deal
Thai low-cost carrier Nok Airlines has renewed its partnership with StandardAero for CFM International CFM56-7B engine maintenance to support its Boeing 737-800s. StandardAero has already inducted two of Nok Air’s CFM56-7Bs at its facility in Winnipeg, Canada.
Revima, Safran Renew Landing Gear Collaboration
Revima and Safran Landing Systems have signed a long-term spare parts supply and technical support agreement covering landing gear maintenance across various Airbus aircraft. The companies say the deal reinforces their collaboration around historic programs such as the Airbus A320ceo and A330 and now also includes the A320neo, A330neo and the main landing gear for the A350-900.

Lufthansa Technik AERO Alzey has renewed its Designated Overhaul Facility licenses with Pratt & Whitney Canada to maintain and overhaul PW100 and PW150 engines.
Air Austral Picks AFI KLM E&M For GE90 Support
Air Austral signed an expanded engine support agreement with AFI KLM E&M covering the General Electric GE90 engines powering its fleet of three Boeing 777s. The contract includes spare engine availability and repair.

Aircraft Academy Gets EASA Part 66 Approval
Vallair Group subsidiary Aircraft Academy has received European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) approval to offer Part 66 training and examinations for aircraft maintenance engineers across multiple categories. Aircraft Academy CEO Armel Jezequel says the school is seeing significant global demand for aircraft mechanic training, including from students in the Asia-Pacific region.
SalamAir Picks StandardAero For Leap MRO
Oman-based low-cost carrier SalamAir has selected StandardAero to perform CFM International Leap-1A engine MRO for its fleet of Airbus A320neos.

AFI KLM E&M Inducts First Trent XWB-84
AFI KLM E&M has inducted its first Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-84 engine for services at its MRO center at Charles De Gaulle Airport in Paris. The induction is part of the Trent XWB maintenance and repair agreement AFI KLM E&M signed with Rolls-Royce at the 2024 Paris Airshow.
AE Industrial Acquires Air Transport Components
Private investment firm AE Industrial has acquired Air Transport Components, a provider of aircraft component MRO services with facilities in Gilbert, Arizona, and Tulsa, Oklahoma. AE Industrial’s previous investments include AIM MRO, Kellstrom Aerospace and Yingling Aviation.

Cebu Pacific Signs Pratt GTF Maintenance Deal
Cebu Pacific has signed a 12-year EngineWise agreement with Pratt & Whitney covering support for the geared turbofan (GTF) engines the airline ordered in 2024. The orders, which took place in February and July, respectively, included 15 A320neo family aircraft and up to 152 Airbus A321neo aircraft.
Fokker Services Group Gets C-390M Modification Approval
Fokker Services Group has been accredited as a military design organization by the Minister of Defense of the Netherlands, enabling it to perform aircraft engineering design activities and modifications on the Embraer C-390M Millennium. Last year, the company announced the joint operation of a new hangar facility with the Royal Netherlands Air Force in Woensdrecht and a partnership with Embraer Defense & Security for the delivery of C0390M aircraft including NATO modifications.

Aegean Opens Applications For MRO Training Scholarship Program
Aegean has launched a new cycle of its 24-month Aircraft Engineer Training Scholarship Program, which combines classroom and on-the-job practical training and provides scholarships to cover a portion of tuition fees. Aegean says graduates will have access to direct employment opportunities at the airline after obtaining their aircraft maintenance licenses. Applications are open until July 4.
Tarmac Aerosave Makes Aircraft Recycling Breakthrough
Tarmac Aerosave and aluminum recycling specialist Constellium report that they have successfully recycled and remelted aluminum from end-of-life aircraft into new, high-performance material they say is suitable for future aerospace applications. The companies say the next step will be to scale the process up for industrial application and extend it to any aluminum alloy used in metallic aircraft.

STS Expands Part 21J Capabilities
STS Aviation Services has received approval from the UK Civil Aviation Authority to expand its Part 21J Design Organization Approval capabilities. Its new capabilities include minor repairs and unrepaired damage approvals on metallic and composite secondary structures; modifications to existing structures, including replacement part design and installation; protective treatments; and design and installation of aircraft liveries, placards and exterior markings.
Royal Aircraft Maintenance Company Gets FAA Engine Approvals
United Arab Emirates-based Royal Aircraft Maintenance Company says its Engine Repair Center has received FAA approval to perform major repairs on engines including the CFM International CFM56, IAE V2500, and General Electric T700 and GE90. The company says it expects to receive European Union Aviation Safety Agency approval soon.

MTU's Jinwan Site Redelivers First Engine
MTU Maintenance Zhuhai Jinwan has redelivered its first Pratt & Whitney PW1100G-JM engine to China Southern Airlines. The site, opened in March, is a branch of MTU Maintenance Zhuhai, a joint venture between Germany-based MTU Aero Engines and China Southern Airlines. In 2025, the Jinwan branch plans to redeliver more than 50 engines to customers. Once fully ramped up, it is expected to have an annual capacity of 260 engine shop visits.
UAMCO Updates EASA Part 145
Cyprus-based United Aerospace Maintenance Company (UAMCO), a CFM International Leap engine repair shop, has updated its European Union Aviation Safety Agency approval to now include D1 – Non-Destructive Testing. The updated approval makes the services available from UAMCO to other shops in the Leap aftermarket network.

Turbo Resources Expands Facility
Aftermarket parts specialist Turbo Resources has completed a 245,000 ft.² expansion of its facility in Chandler, Arizona. It says the additional space will enable it to increase inventory capacity.
Duncan Aviation Completes PW500 Prep
Duncan Aviation says its engine technicians have completed factory authorization training on the Pratt & Whitney PW500 series engine and have begun their first overhaul. Once the overhaul is complete, the engine will undergo test cell runs at Pratt & Whitney before it enters Duncan Aviation’s engine rental pool.

TP Aerospace Signs Support Deal With Supernova
TP Aerospace has signed a new long-term agreement with Ukrainian cargo carrier Supernova covering wheel and brake support for its upcoming Boeing 737NG freighter operation. Under the cycle flat rate agreement, TP Aerospace will provide services from its facility in Brno, Czech Republic.

SIKA Wins Collins Flight Controls MRO Deal
SIKA Interplant Systems has signed a license agreement with Collins Aerospace to carry out MRO of primary flight controls for Airbus A320/A321 aircraft. Under the agreement, SIKA is authorised to service specific primary flight control actuation components originally made by Collins Aerospace. SIKA’s license covers aircraft registered in India and select nearby countries.
Iberia Plans MRO AI Digitalization With Amazon Web Services
Iberia has signed a multi-year deal to move its digital infrastructure to Amazon Web Services (AWS) and use the company’s artificial intelligence (AI) and data capabilities. The airline says it also plans to integrate advanced AI capabilities with AWS services into its MRO operations with the aim of implementing predictive analytics, automated documentation processing and AI-assisted technical operations to enhance safety, reduce downtime and optimize costs.

Werner Aero has acquired an Airbus A320-200 from FTAI Aviation that Air Salvage International will dismantle at Cotswold Airport in the UK.
HAECO Signs 737 Landing Gear Deal With China Airlines
HAECO has expanded its partnership with China Airlines to include landing gear services for the airline’s Boeing 737 fleet. HAECO will service seven 737-800s from its Xiamen, China, facility between 2025-27.

LHT Opens Portugal Training Center
Lufthansa Technik (LHT) has opened a new training center near its upcoming Lufthansa Technik Portugal facility, which is expected to begin operating by the end of 2027. The training center will offer theoretical and practical training, and it has welcomed its first 18 trainees. LHT says the new Portugal facility will create around 700 jobs.
FSG Becomes Approved Airbus Corporate Jets Outfitter
Airbus Corporate Jets has selected Fokker Services Group (FSG) to join its network of approved outfitters to support special mission aircraft and business jets.

Japan Airlines Picks IFS Cloud MRO Software
Japan Airlines has selected IFS Cloud for Aviation Maintenance software as part of a project to modernize from its legacy aircraft maintenance management system, which had been in operation for over 15 years. IFS says the new software will provide predictive maintenance, real-time analytics, workflow automation and industrial artificial intelligence capabilities.
New MRO Training Option For Bahamas Students
Middle Tennessee State University, The Bahamas Department of Aviation and The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, Investments & Aviation have partnered to provide educational and professional opportunities for students and aviation professionals. Students from The Bahamas can now enroll in the university’s aerospace training programs—which include pilot, maintenance, flight dispatch, drone and other concentration areas—as well as participate in summer campus immersion experiences and access online courses and fast-track options for working students.

Joramco Gets E2 Approval
Joramco has received approval from the Jordanian Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission to perform line and base maintenance checks on Embraer ERJ-190 series aircraft powered by the Pratt & Whitney PW1900G engine. Ahead of the new approval, Joramco invested in specialized theoretical type training at its facility and practical training at Embraer’s facilities in Brazil. Joramco says the capability will help it support flag carrier Royal Jordanian.
ATS Technic To Handle Ethiopian Line Maintenance In Jordan, UAE
ATS Technic has signed an agreement to perform line maintenance services to Ethiopian Airlines at Queen Alia International Airport, Dubai International Airport, Al Maktoum International Airport, Sharjah International Airport and Zayed International Airport.
