I have lost count of how many stories I have written about the MRO industry workforce shortage and ways in which companies are trying to get ahead of it, but this year I had the opportunity to scope out one initiative at MHIRJ’s Bridgeport, West Virginia facility that is already seeing massive success by generating career opportunities and interest in a local community that has suffered from losing previously booming industries like coal, oil and gas.
