Qantas to buy eight Boeing 787-9s
Qantas has signed a letter of intent to buy eight 787-9 Dreamliners, Boeing announced Aug. 19. The aircraft will be powered by the GEnx-1B powerplant in an engine order valued at more than $400 million list prices. Deliveries will begin in 2017.
