Northwest Airlines will accelerate
Northwest Airlines will accelerate the retirement of the 12 DC-10-30 aircraft it still has in service, replacing them during the next seven months with new Airbus A330s as well as Boeing 747-400s being returned to service. By Oct. 31, the carrier will operate A330s on all its transatlantic routes.
