According to Aviation Week's 2023 Fleet & MRO Forecast, 1,596 commercial engines will be delivered to North American customers in 2023. Among these 1,596 engines, 902 are firm orders and 592 engines are returning from the storage. 

The data shows that due to the expected growth in the narrowbody segment, the majority of the engines will be delivered to narrowbody aircraft operators. Leap and Pratt & Whitney-manufactured PW1000G engine types will see the highest volume of deliveries, representing more than 50% of all shipments in the region. CFM International’s CFM56 engine type accounts for 274 engine deliveries.
