Oman Air is in the middle of a strategic reset, repositioning itself as a smaller, more focused premium carrier centered on Muscat. The airline joined the oneworld alliance in June 2025, giving it broader global reach and stronger feed across Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

Under CEO Con Korfiatis, the airline has been simplifying around a leaner Boeing fleet, phasing out older 737NGs in favor of 737-8s and expanding its 787 operation to improve efficiency and reduce complexity.

Oman Air is one of the airlines registered to attend Routes Europe in Rimini, Italy.
