Virgin Atlantic is a UK-based long-haul airline founded by Sir Richard Branson in 1984.
Headquartered in Crawley, near London Gatwick Airport, the carrier operates primarily from London Heathrow Airport, connecting the UK with destinations across North America, the Caribbean, Africa and Asia.
A member of the SkyTeam alliance since 2023, Virgin Atlantic operates a widebody fleet of Airbus A330 and A350 and Boeing 787 aircraft. The airline is part-owned by Delta Air Lines and is a member of a transatlantic joint venture with Delta and Air France-KLM, strengthening its connectivity between Europe and North America.
