Gol Linhas Aéreas was founded in 2001 and operates services to destinations throughout Brazil and to markets in South America, the Caribbean and the U.S. 

The airline operates a single-type Boeing 737 fleet, supporting operational efficiency and network flexibility. In recent years, GOL has focused on strengthening its balance sheet and optimising its route structure, positioning itself for more disciplined growth in Brazil’s competitive aviation market.

GOL is one of the airlines registered to attend the Routes Americas 2026 event in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
