Video: United Airlines’ First Airbus A321XLR Featured At Farnborough
United Airlines has taken delivery of its first of 50 Airbus A321XLRs on order.
Six weeks after delivery, the aircraft was featured at the Farnborough Airshow, prior to its entry into commercial service.
The carrier’s XLRs are designed to be the most premium-heavy narrowbody airplane in its fleet; with 20 Polaris business class, 12 premium plus, 34 economy plus, and 84 in economy, for a total of 150 seats.
The cabin includes new all-aisle access lie-flat United Polaris Studio suites with privacy doors, larger overhead bins, a snack bar in the rear of the economy
