Varig leases a 737-700 from GE Capital Aviation Services
Varig has leased a 737-700 from GE Capital Aviation Services. The delivery came two months after Varig announced an agreement to buy 39 Boeing aircraft valued at $2.7 billion, including four 777s, 10 737-800s, four 737-700s and six 767-300ERs. Varig placed options on four 777-200s and 11 737-700s.
