Jet2.com anticipates high demand for leisure travel this summer as it continues to expand its footprint.

The ULCC has blamed a “stupid and illogical” tax imposed by the Hungarian government.

The routes are mostly to popular leisure destinations in Europe.

The additional services include its first-ever route to Belfast City Airport.

Routes rounds up the latest new route announcements, as well as services returning to carrier’s networks.

Greece is a major focus for Wizz Air’s new routes, while easyJet is adding domestic services in France and the UK.

The expanded offering will boost its available capacity by 19 percent to 450,000 annual seats and will include a new twice weekly link to the recent Routes Europe host city, Kraków, in Poland. It will also extend summer routes to Faro, Gran Canaria and Malta into the winter schedule, adding to its current flights to Alicante, Malaga and Tenerife.
