Qatar Airways will reduce 14X-weekly Doha-Manchester service to 10X-weekly March 26. Emirates will add a second daily service on its Dubai-Glasgow Airbus A340-300 route June 1 and will introduce a first-class cabin on both flights.
Delta Air Lines (DL) and WestJet (WS) said Tuesday they will expand their cooperation agreement with increased codesharing starting with Jan. 23 flights.
Russian and Spanish civil aviation authorities have agreed to add more frequencies on Barcelona (BCN)–Moscow and Alicante (ALC)–Moscow routes. According to letters published on a Russian Ministry of Transport website, the carriers of each country will be able to operate 42 flights per week between Moscow and BCN and 14 flights on Moscow–ALC route.

JetBlue Airlines launched daily Hartford, Conn.-West Palm Beach, Fla. service.
Lufthansa (LH), the largest foreign carrier in Russia, will transfer its Dusseldorf (DUS) and Hamburg (HAM) flights from Moscow Domodedovo (DME) to Moscow Vnukovo (VKO) beginning June 3, according to a VKO statement. In November 2011, LH revealed plans to add VKO to its network ( ATW Daily News, Nov. 23). From March 25, LH will operate two out of six scheduled daily flights from Frankfurt (FRA), and from June 3 it will add 12 flights per week from Berlin.
