Kuwait set to welcome back Bahrain Air after 11-month absence

Bahrain Air is to resume flights to Kuwait next week after suspending operations to its GCC partner during the Arab Spring uprisings.

It will restart operations from January 26 and will offer four flights a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Flights will depart from Bahrain in the morning at 8.35 a.m. and return in the evening from Kuwait to Bahrain at 18.55 p.m.

In a statement the airline said that these times are designed to provide convenience to passengers wishing to maximise their time in Kuwait or for business traffic requiring to return the same day. Bahrain Air’s flights will continue onwards from Kuwait to Beirut and from Beirut to Kuwait.

Bahrain Air CEO. Richard Nuttall said: “Kuwait is an important destination in its own right and at the same time will also support our network beyond Bahrain with convenient connections especially to the Indian subcontinent and Khartoum. Further we will be adding non-stop flights between Kuwait and Beirut strengthening our presence and product in both markets.”
