From The Archives: Orbiter Enterprise/747 Carrier Aircraft Land At Le Bourget

This cover shows NASA's Boeing 747 carrying the shuttle Enterprise as it touches down at Le Bourget Airport to terminate its Paris Air Show flight demonstration. 

The combination was flown by NASA pilots Thomas McMurty, Fitzhugh Fulton, Richard Scobie, A.J. Roy and Kenneth Haugen.
