Textron Aviation plans to grow its European Distribution Center in Dusseldorf, Germany, by 50% to strengthen parts availability and handle increased fulfillment requests across Europe as it supports continued growth in its aftermarket services.

The company plans to expand the facility by about 1,000 m2 (10,765 ft.2) to allow for an increase of approximately 5,000 additional parts to improve fulfillment performance, Textron Aviation says. It also provides space for continued growth of its team at the distribution center.

The move will enhance the company’s ability to scale operations to meet growing demand, including space to grow its team and to provide faster access to parts for its customers across the region.

Textron Aviation did not provide details on when the expansion will be completed and operational.
