According to Aviation Week's MRO Prospector, global engine overhaul demand will represent a value of $108.2 billion for the period of 2023-25. Meanwhile, C and D checks will see demand around $7.8 billion and $7.9 billion, respectively.

It is forecast that there will be a global total of approximately 26,111 C checks and 23,445 engine overhauls over the next three years. D checks and landing gear overhauls account for 7,311 and 7,136, respectively. 

The data below illustrates that there will be a demand of 8,901 C checks, 2,334 D checks, 7,175 engine overhauls and 2,320 landing gear overhauls for 2023. 

Aviation Week's data shows that the North America region will see the highest MRO shop visits for the next three years, at 8,298 C checks, 2,104 D checks, 6,775 engine overhauls and 2,239 landing gear overhauls.
