Lithuanian MRO provider FL Technics has named Saulius Bajarunas as its new CEO.
Effective Sept. 1, Bajarunas will take over the company’s leadership from Zilvinas Lapinskas, who was recently announced as the new CEO at FL Technics’ parent company, Avia Solutions Group.
Bajarunas has served as the company’s chief operating officer since 2019. During that period, he played a key role in FL Technics’ global expansion.

Lapinskas became FL Technics CEO in November 2013 and during that period has overseen a significant growth in revenues. The company reported revenues of $105.3 million in 2016, which increased to more than $405 million by 2025. By 2030, it is targeting €1 billion ($1.1 billion) in annual turnover by 2030.
In recent years, the maintenance specialist has continued its global push by opening new facilities in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic and starting operations at a narrowbody aircraft MRO facility in Bali, Indonesia, while expanding its engine MRO offering at operations in Kaunas, Lithuania.
Other expansion activities included acquiring Sensus Aero to scale up its digital MRO software solutions and 3D scanning technologies into base maintenance processes, opening new wheels and brakes facilities in Bergamo, Italy. Most recently, it finalized the acquisition of Czechia-based Job Air Technic.
