Highlights From Day Two Of AFA’s Air, Space & Cyber Conference
NATIONAL HARBOR, Maryland—The F-47 sixth-generation fighter is on track for its first flight, U.S. Air Force officials confirmed at AFA’s Air, Space & Cyber Conference.
Major milestones still remain before first flight within the next two years. “We are absolutely on path to be able to hit the mark of flying within this administration, we see no issues in front of us right now,” Gen. Dale White, the Air Force’s direct reporting program manager for its major acquisition programs, said. “As long as the team continues to execute … [we] will be on time on target with that.”
