Gulfstream Aerospace marked a milestone with the delivery of its 200th G600 ultra-long-range business jet. To date, the aircraft has logged more than 197,000 flight hr. and has completed more than 87,000 landings since the aircraft was first delivered in 2019.

The aircraft was delivered to FS Air in Houston, with delivery on March 20, according to Aviation Week data. FS Air currently operates a 2023 Gulfstream 500. FS Air’s address matches that of Fayez Sarofim & Co., an investment management firm. The G600 was outfitted at Gulfstream’s facility in St. Louis.

The G600 has an Aviation Week BCA-equipped price of $63.5 million.

“Interest in the G600 remains incredibly strong worldwide as customers continue to be impressed with its remarkable capabilities,” said Mark Burns, president of Gulfstream. “Reaching the 200th delivery reflects the program’s continued momentum while reinforcing the aircraft’s proven maturity and reliability.”

The G600 received both FAA type and production certificates on June 28, 2019, with first delivery on Aug. 8, 2019. Gulfstream announced the G600 and its sister aircraft, the Gulfstream G500, in October 2014. First flight took place in December 2016. To date, the G600 has amassed 95 city-pair speed records.

In January, the aircraft received steep-approach landing certification by EASA, allowing operation at additional airports, including London City. The G600 can be configured with up to four living areas and seat up to 19 passengers. The aircraft is equipped with Pratt & Whitney Canada PW815GA engines and can fly 6,600 nm at Mach 0.85 or 5,600 nm at Mach 0.90. It has a maximum operating speed of Mach 0.925.
