Data: Top Business Operators' Utilization Continues To Accelerate

Aggregated hourly flown figures for the world’s leading business aviation carriers show that NetJets, Flexjet, VistaJet, Wheels Up and FlyExclusive all experienced a June to August 2025 utilization higher than the same period of 2024, according to Aviation Week’s Tracked Aircraft Utilization tool. All five operator totals were also above June to August of 2019.

Wheels Up stands out, showing a 24% year-on-year increase during the focused period. Meanwhile, Flexjet’s total comes to an increase of 144% over the same period from 2019.

Significantly larger in fleet size to the other featured operators, NetJets cumulated just under 185,000 flight hrs. during the three-month period, having flown more than 60,000 monthly flight hrs from March to August.
