The number of hours flown by corporate, fractional, charter and private individual operators from March to May 2026 rose when compared to hourly utilization performance during the same period of 2025 and 2019, according to Aviation Week’s Tracked Aircraft Utilization data.

The total hours for corporate operators – by far the largest of the four operator classes with a fleet that exceeds 21,600 aircraft – came to just over one million hours over the three months, up 3% compared to a year ago and above the March-May 2019 period.

Fractional operators have collectively flown 12% more compared to a year ago and show a utilization growth of 181% over the same period of 2019.
