California-based startup Natilus has revealed the first interior layout details of its planned 200-seat Horizon blended wing body (BWB) airliner.

Boeing and Spirit AeroSystems are in advanced stages of developing a design change that will add a layer of safety to 737-9 and 737-900ER door plugs.

Acro Aircraft Seating has been selected to supply FlySafair with multiple shipsets of its Series 9 Fixed Back seats.

The airframer will instead focus on upgrading the E175-E1 and selling its E2 variants.

The aircraft will be equipped with the ATR HighLine premium cabin.

Speaking at the Paris Air Show on Wednesday, Air Tahiti CEO Edouard Wong Fat said there was “something missing” in the airline’s product offering.

The airline, Safran and UK design agency Acumen Design Associates said the new design will be the world’s largest seat in its class on a mid-sized aircraft.
