Route Exchange

The event revolves around pre-scheduled Face-to-Face Meetings and with around 5,000 route development meetings taking place over three days, the event offers an unrivalled platform for airlines and airports to do business face-to-face with the key decision makers in the industry.

Route Exchange Airline Briefings will, once again, be a key feature of the event. These live airline briefings from key carriers and senior personnel will outline opportunities for airline growth, provide an opportunity to discuss their requirements to their target airport market and invite airports to bid for new service. This year, attendees can expect to hear Route Exchange Briefings from the following airlines: easyjet, Flybe, Thomas Cook Airlines, WestJet and Monarch.

In addition, The Routes Europe Strategy Summit will spark interesting and insightful debate when it opens Routes Europe on Sunday 12 April. Many high level industry speakers will take part in the Strategy Summit including Michael Haendel, Director, Network Planning for the Lufthansa Hub MUC; Fernando Estrada, Strategy and Alliances Director, Vueling Airlines; Jens Boyd, Group Director Long Haul Network and Revenue Management for Thomas Cook Group Airlines and Kam Jandu, Chief Commercial Officer of Budapest Airport.

The packed event programme also includes many opportunities for delegates to network at the various social events taking place including the Host Welcome Reception and the Networking Evening.
