RAK adds Riyadh to destinations from the Northern Emirates

RAK Airways has announced its third new destination of the year from its base in Ras Al Khaimah in the UAE.

On Wednesday it will begin a three-times-weekly service to Riyadh, following its earlier launches to Amman and Islamabad.

The airline already serves Jeddah with a four times a week service.

Sheikh Salem Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, RAK’s chairman of civil aviation and vice-chairman of the airline, said: ‘The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a major contributor of tourism into the United Arab Emirates and it is with great joy that we fly into the capital Riyadh from the Northern Emirates.”

The airline will increase the Riyadh connections to four times a week when its winter schedules begin in October.

The Saudi capital is the 12th destination for RAK Airways.
