Pegasus Airlines to serve Beirut

Turkish operator Pegasus Airlines has revealed that it will introduce new non-stop service from its Istanbul Sabiha Gocken to Beirut, Lebanon.

The route will become effective from September 1st and will be operated on a daily basis. There is no carrier operating these airport pairs, however Turkish Airlines operates Beirut from Ataturk on a twice daily basis with Middle East Airlines (MEA) on a 9x weekly offer.

IATA BSP data shows that over 108,000 passengers flew from Ataturk to Beirut between April 09-10
