Located in the northwest of Germany, Münster/Osnabrück Airport (FMO) has an attractive catchment area of more than 3 million, offering sufficient market demand. Welcoming 991,471 passengers in 2023, a 19% increase compared with 2022, FMO is one of the few airports in Germany to have achieved a full recovery since the pandemic and offer 24/7 operations, without slot restrictions.

FMO is served by 13 airlines, connecting the airport to 14 destinations in seven European countries. The airport is looking towards a positive outlook for 2024, welcoming new carriers, new routes, and increased frequencies.

Among these, German airline Condor is expanding its services, operating 5X-weekly flights to Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI) from May 2024 and Marabu Airlines is adding 2X-weekly flights to Heraklion International Airport N. Kazantzakis (HER). Mavi Gök Airlines and Pegasus Airlines will be operating to Antalya Airport (AYT), with SunExpress also increasing its frequencies to the same destination.

Ryanair is set to introduce a new route to Alicante Airport (ALC), Air Cairo will increase to twice a week to Hurghada International Airport (HRG), Egypt, and GP Aviation is increasing flights to Pristina International Airport (PRN) from three to five per week.
