KLM Scales Back Winter Capacity
It appears that KLM ROYAL DUTCH AIRLINES is to reduce frequencies on some of its long-haul routes after preliminary information on its Northern Winter 2011/2012 schedules were uploaded into the GDS. Its current daily Amsterdam – Osaka Kansai route will be reduced from a daily to a six-times weekly schedule; flights from the Dutch capital to Paramaribo will be reduced from five a week to four, while plans to add a fourth weekly rotation to Abuja and Kano in Abuja appears to have been cancelled. Further information is expected to be released in the coming months.
