Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) on Aug. 23 fully opened its new $2.7 billion Terminal A, which started handling flights in January when the majority of the facility opened. Delta Air Lines completed the opening in August by moving from Terminal B and opening its Sky Club lounge in Terminal A.
The 1 million-sq.-ft. Terminal A is one of three passenger terminals at the airport, and replaces Newark’s former Terminal A, which opened in 1973.
