Etihad secures more Australian rights

Middle Eastern carrier Etihad Airways has secured rights to operate up to 14 more weekly services to Australia from March 2011.
After the conclusion of bilateral talks between the United Arab Emirates and Australian authorities this week, Etihad says it will be able to operate seven more services to Australia.

Etihad currently serves on an 8x weekly rotation from AUH with A340-500 equipment, and also Sydney on a 12x weekly basis with A340-600 equipment.

It also serves Brisbane as an extension to its Singapore service on a 4x weekly rotation with A330-200 equipment.
