Etihad to increase FRA services

Abu Dhabi based Etihad Airways has announced plans to increase its services to Frankfurt. Currently the airlines operates 10 weekly frequencies but will augment this to 13 from December 12.

Additionally, from March 28 Etihad will then go double daily refelcting the strong O+D market as well as the beyond traffic behind Munich and beyond Abu Dhabi.

Etihad operates A330-200 equipment on the route facing competition from Lufthansa which itself operates 12 weekly flights with a mix of A330-300, A340-300 and A340-600 equipment.
