China Eastern to Operate Final Scheduled A340-300 Flight

Based on latest GDS timetable and inventory display on 20APR12, as well as OAG Schedules iNet, China Eastern Airlines today (20APR12) is operating final Airbus A340-300 service on scheduled basis. The last flight is Shanghai Pu Dong - Honolulu route. Note the A340-300 may still be operating on temporary basis as substituting flight when required, prior to full retirement.

From 24APR12, the twice weekly service to Honolulu will be operated by A340-600, and later switches to A330-200 from 15MAY12.
