American Airlines will temporarily operate Boeing 787 aircraft from both Miami and Philadelphia to Las Vegas in February, when the Nevada city will host the National Football League’s Super Bowl championship game.

Services from Miami International Airport (MIA) and Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) are part of a host of temporary American flights added from 10 cities to Las Vegas Reid International Airport (LAS) between Feb. 8 and Feb. 12. The Super Bowl match will be played on Feb. 11.

American will operate inbound flights from the 10 cities to LAS from Feb. 8-10, with outbound service from Feb. 11-12. 

The most flights will be from American’s Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) home hub. The carrier will fly 14 inbound flights from DFW to LAS on both Feb. 8 and Feb. 9. It will fly 15 outbound flights from LAS to DFW on Feb. 12.

Other cities to and from which American will add Super Bowl flights to LAS are: Austin, Texas: Charlotte, North Carolina; Chicago O’Hare; Los Angeles; New York JFK; Phoenix; and Reagan Washington National Airport.
