Alliance carriers expand codeshare

Star Alliance carriers TAP and Aegean Airlines will codeshare on Aegean's new service from Athens to Madrid which will commence on December 1st. The new codeshare will allow Star passengers to fly from Athens through Madrid and to TAP services to Porto and Lisbon. There is currently no scheduled carrier operating between Athens and either of the two largest Portuguese cities, so this codeshare will allow passengers a one stop connect on the same ticket.
