Air Cairo expands its reach to Saudi capital

Egyptian low cost carrier Air Cairo is to launch direct flights from the Egyptian bases at Alexandria and Assyut to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, starting March 25th.

The new routes build on the success of the direct flights from Alexandria, Assyut and Sohag to Jeddah and Kuwait,.
Yasser El Ramly, Air Cairo’s chairman and CEO said; "We have an ambitious plan to expand and develop the network, and will continue to provide new destinations and increase frequencies in order to provide more options to our customers in all Egyptian governorates, as well as prices to suit everyone.
"With the operation to Riyadh we will have 45 scheduled weekly flights. This expansion of the network in the Middle East comes under the strategy of the Ministry of Aviation to grow investments and provide more services for residents of Egyptian governorates located far from Cairo."
Air Cairo’s fleet consists of four Airbus 320s.
