Embraer will feature the E195-E2 in the static display at this year’s Farnborough Air Show, with Commercial Aviation president and CEO Arjan Meijer scheduled to outline the company's latest commercial developments on July 21.

“Embraer will once again have a strong presence,” Meijer told ATW. “We expect to make some announcements on Tuesday [July 21].”

The late morning briefing will cover the market outlook for small narrowbodies, along with Embraer’s most recent orders.

During the first half of 2026, Embraer delivered 30 commercial aircraft, four more than the comparable period in 2025. The smaller E175 variant made up over half of the total, with 16 aircraft deliveries, compared with five E190-E2s and nine E195-E2s.

Embraer still has some ground to cover to hit its 80 to 85 full-year commercial aircraft delivery target.

On July 7, Embraer secured Indian certification for the E190-E1, E195-E1 and E195-E2, building on an existing approval for the E175. This follows a February 2026 MOU, paving the way for an E175 final assembly line in India.

Meijer said Embraer is also investing in new technologies for future product development across all segments.

“We are now working on enhancing the passenger experience, like with new bins on our E175 aircraft, integrating next-generation solutions like our announced Embraer enhanced take-off system (E2TS) on the E195-E2 and addressing evolving regulatory mandates, such as runway overrun awareness and alerting system (ROAAS) technology,” Meijer said.

E2TS is a software enhancement for the E190-E2 and E195-E2 that improves short field performance and payload-range, while ROAAS predicts runway overrun risk.

“We see consistent demand across all segments of the business, and Farnborough provides a unique opportunity to engage with customers,” Embraer president and CEO Francisco Gomes Neto said.
