The national average for a gallon of Jet-A fuel in March 2024 totaled $6.96, down 2 cents from February averages and down 21 cents from a year ago, according to a survey of U.S. fixed base operators by the Aviation Research Group. Prices are full retail and include all taxes and fees. The largest monthly price increase was in the Central region, with prices up 7 cents from February. The largest monthly decrease, meanwhile, was in the Western Pacific region, where fuel prices declined 19 cents compared to February, although the region was the most expensive in the U.S. with fuel prices averaging $7.63 a gallon. The least expensive region was the Central region with prices averaging $6.12 a gallon.
