From Nov. 15, Breeze will start service between Portland International Jetport in Maine and Southwest Florida International Airport in Fort Myers, Florida.

The carrier is also resuming a slew of grounded routes next summer.

The latest network additions by the airline partners come despite the US Justice Department’s efforts to block the alliance.

The focus on Miami International comes as rival Spirit Airlines prepares to begin service from the airport.

The carrier will operate to 23 destinations from PHL this summer.

The regional jet operator plans flights to Sarasota and Melbourne in Florida.

The carrier is also resuming flights from PHL to Dallas and Houston in May.

The airline’s latest network expansion is on top of eight routes announced one day earlier.

The ULCC plans to open six new routes from Atlanta, plus two from Philadelphia.

The US carrier’s latest domestic routes connect the midwest with beach towns up and down the east coast.

The carrier will also start nonstop service from Miami to Suriname in July.
