Two of Lufthansa Cargo’s A321Fs have been grounded due to a fine crack found on the rear fuselage structure.

The parent company of ANA is suspending its cargo partnerships with Lufthansa and United Airlines to help facilitate its acquisition of Nippon Cargo Airlines.

The technology is now being gradually applied on Lufthansa’s eleven 777F freighters.

Lufthansa Cargo noted it has been serving short- and medium-haul destinations with A321F aircraft for more than a year.
