Gulfstream G700

More than 100 Gulfstream customer pilots have earned their type rating for Gulfstream’s new G700 since the business jet earned FAA type certification March 29.

Gulfstream has earned UK Civil Aviation Authority type certification of its new G700 ultra long-range business jet, bringing total certifications to 11.

The General Dynamics company logged a strong quarter but G700 deliveries still working through kinks.

During the second quarter of 2024, Gulfstream Aerospace delivered 11 of its recently certified G700 ultra long-range business jet.

The G700 will enter commercial services with Qatar Executive in June.

Gulfstream Aerospace’s G700 large business jet has received EASA type certification, following FAA certification on March 29, the company reports.

Gulfstream debuted the two programs in 2021.

Gulfstream Aerospace delivered 24 business jets during the first quarter (Q1) of 2024, including 21 large-cabin and three mid-size cabin aircraft.

The delivery announcement by the company comes less than a month after the aircraft achieved FAA type certification.

The pre-owned business aircraft market saw an increase in Q1 2024 sales with 253 resale transactions, up from 239 in the same period a year ago.

With the recent certification of the Gulfstream G700, the time is ripe to look back at the OEM's recent large-cabin bizjet deliveries.
