Though British Airways (BA) already flies extensively to the US, serving more than 20 destinations in the continental US with 5X-weekly London Heathrow-Austin Boeing 787 service set to start in March 2014, the carrier is eyeing further US expansion.

Australia’s Jetstar will begin domestic Boeing 787 service Nov. 13 with international service beginning Dec. 18 to Bali. The 787 begins domestic service to Melbourne-Gold Coast and -Cairns. The airline is expected to have two more 787s by the beginning of 2014.
