Lufthansa Cargo (LHC) is predicting flat to 5% traffic growth in 2012, LHC executive board member-product and sales Andreas Otto told the German News agency dpa.
Germania announced it will base three Airbus A319s in Bremen and add six weekly routes to Saloniki, Corfu, Split, Dubrovnik, Bourgas and Malaga, for the coming summer season. The expansion should generate a total of 200,000 passengers (from Bremen) and create 75 new jobs. United Airlines will launch daily Newark-Buenos Aires service April 2012.
NAV Canada said it reached a tentative agreement on a labor contract with the Canadian Federal Pilots Assn. (CFPA), which represents some 34 pilots who perform aeronautical information services, fight inspection and air navigation service design for Canada's air traffic services provider. "The tentative agreement is now subject to the union ratification process," NAV Canada said. It did not release details of the tentative accord.
