Emirates Airline will add more than 2,000 seats a week to and from Newcastle when it introduces a larger aircraft on its daily flight to Dubai from 1st September, 2012.
Turkish Airlines will increase its Istanbul-New York JFK service from 2X- to 3X-daily from May 28 through Sept. 16. The additional flights will be operated with Airbus 330-300 and Boeing 777 aircraft. Transaero Airlines (UN) will reinstate 2X-weekly Boeing 777 Moscow (DME)–Los Angeles (LAX) flights from April 29, after 10 years. This is UN’s third US destination.
Transaero Airlines (UN) will transfer some flights from Moscow Domodedovo (DME) to Vnukovo (VKO) because DME cannot keep up with the carrier’s rapid expansion, CEO Olga Pleshakova said.
Emirates is responding to strong passenger demand in Tunis by launching an extra frequency and introducing the Airbus A340-500 on to the Dubai- Tunis route, commencing 25 March 2012.
