Erika Pearson was last week named president of Boeing Business Jets (BBJ) (Static park AD1) in succession to JD Detwiler, who was recently appointed business development leader for Boeing Defense, Space and Security programs. Pearson, a 29-year Boeing veteran, most recently served as sales director in Asia-Pacific leading the Singapore Airlines Group, Air New Zealand and Fiji Airways accounts for Commercial Airplanes.

Jimmy Bäckström is newly appointed chairman at Web Manuals, a leader in digitalizing manuals for the aviation industry.

Elaine Turner has recently been appointed Global Marketing Director at TAG Aviation. Elaine has a wealth of experience in marketing and the business aviation industry, having headed up the Marketing Department at Farnborough Airport since 2007. Meanwhile, Jo Goodall is the new CEO at TAG Europe and will be available on Booth O95 at EBACE to meet customers. Elsewhere, Steven Young is the new CEO at TAG Asia.

Ronan Kelleher has been appointed MD and Chief Financial Officer of Aviation at investment firm Castlelake. He most recently served as Chief Financial Officer of AMCK Aviation.

Nuno Taborda is the new CEO of MagniX (Booth N61). Taborda is an accomplished aerospace executive with two decades of experience, most recently as Senior Vice President of Production Programs at Rolls-Royce, where he was accountable for all engine production programs.

Matthys Serfontein has been appointed President, Americas at SITA. He returns to SITA after a two-year hiatus at a time when travel is rebounding in the wake of the pandemic.

Stuart Ward last week took up his new position as Marketing Manager, Europe, at Signature Flight (Booth K51) in the UK. 

Doug Washburn has been appointed Vice President of Engineering and Flight Safety at Hartzell Propeller. He is replacing Bruce Hanke, who is retiring, and brings with him 21 years of experience from GE Aviation engineering.
