ROXANNE AUSTIN was appointed chief financial officer of Hughes Electronics Corp. Austin previously served as corporate senior vice president, treasurer and controller for Hughes. She will remain a senior vice president and report to C. Michael Armstrong, chief executive officer and chairman.
