Marshall Aerospace says it has secured a two-year contract extension to support Lockheed Martin C-130Js in the Danish and Norwegian air forces, with options for continuing the work beyond that period.

The company has not disclosed the contract value, saying the extension will cover MRO activities in 2025 and 2026. The contract covers eight of the tactical airlifters. Denmark and Norway have been partners on negotiating the logistics support for the aircraft since 2012.

Marshall says that under the contract, it will mainly provide C, C2 and D checks at its facility in Cambridge, England.

The extension builds on a contract first signed in 2020, Marhsall says, though the relationship with the two governments goes back decades. Norway has used Marshall for support of older C-130s as far back as 1977. Denmark’s relationship with the company around C-130s began in 1986, Marshall says.
