FEAM Grows European Line Station Network

U.S.-based MRO specialist FEAM Aero has grown its line station network in Europe by acquiring Danish company Northern Aerotech.

The acquisitions of the six Northern Aerotech line stations will take the number of FEAM-operated locations in Europe to 12 line stations. Overall, it has 42 line stations worldwide.

Northern Aerotech is headquartered in Copenhagen and specializes in line maintenance with additional offerings such as AOG services, aircraft inspection and airline consultancy.

Under an EASA Part-145 certification, it holds technical capability with multiple Boeing and Airbus aircraft types.

Cam Murphy, president of FEAM, says the company feels the time is right to align with key partners in major markets worldwide to continue growth.

In January, FEAM expanded into the UK after buying two line stations from BOSA.

The line stations are both in the north of England and are located at Liverpool John Lennon Airport and Doncaster/Sheffield Airport in Yorkshire.
